Venezuelan Toasted Arepa with Pulled Pork, Cheese & Beans

Equipment:

Ingredients:

• 1 pre-made arepa, sliced in half
• ¾ cup pre-cooked pulled pork
• ½ tsp. cumin
• ½ tsp. chili powder
• 1 Tbsp. canned green chilis
• ¼ cup black beans
• Cotija, queso fresco, or shredded cheddar cheese
• Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Prepare the Filling: 

1. In a small bowl, combine pulled pork, cumin, chili powder, black beans, and green chilis.

Assemble the Arepa:

1. Place the pork mixture and cheese between the arepa halves. Press gently to close.

Toast It in the Revolution Toastie Press:
