What is your privacy policy?

Network connectivity is used by your Revolution Toaster to automatically check for software update availability, set the time, and display the weather forecast. It is also used to download software updates (only installed with user permission). By connecting your toaster to receive notifications, date/ time, and weather-related information, you agree that we may collect your IP address. Your toaster does not collect or share any personally identifiable information, nor does Revolution Cooking collect or store usage information from your toaster.

What if I don't want to be connected?

No problem! If you don’t want to connect your toaster to the internet, it will work perfectly as your favorite toaster. You can go into the settings to manually set your clock. Please note if Revolution Cooking releases any software updates, you will need to be connected to receive them.

How do I set my location?

Once connected to your local wi-fi, one way to find your location is by using the auto-detect function. If that detects your correct location, you're done!

Auto-detect sets your location by pinging the closest hub your internet service provider is using, which may not always be in your home town. If the auto-detect does not display your preferred location, you can use the search bar in the “location” setting to type in your city or town.

How do I update my toaster?

Revolution Cooking may release some software updates. To receive these updates, your toaster must be connected to your local network. If the settings menu, a red bubble will appear over “System Update”. Click on that and a message will appear explaining exactly what will be updated. This should only take a couple of minutes and then we will get you right back to toasting!

Why does it glow more at the bottom of the heating elements?

The R180 Connect toaster is equipped with InstaGLO 2.0! Since heat naturally rises the elements on the bottom of the toaster will glow a little hotter than the rest to get an all-over even toast.
