Classic Grilled Cheese

A Simple, Perfect Grilled Cheese—Made in Your Toaster

Grilled cheese is one of the easiest comfort foods to make, and now you don’t even need a skillet. Using the Revolution Toastie Press™, you can get golden, crispy bread with perfectly melted cheese inside—in just minutes and with minimal cleanup.

This version is called The Sasha at Revolution Cooking, named after the granddaughter of a team member who first tested it in our kitchen. But at the end of the day, it’s just the classic grilled cheese you know and love—done faster.

Equipment:

• Any Revolution Toaster
• The Toastie Press™

Ingredients:

• 2 slices white bread
• 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
• 1 tsp softened butter (optional)

Stack It:

1. Place both slices of bread side by side.
2. Put a slice of cheddar on each piece.
3. Press the slices together, cheese on the inside.
4. Lightly spread butter on the outside of both slices for an extra golden, crispy finish. (Optional)

Toast It in the Revolution Toastie Press:

1. Place the sandwich in the Toastie Press and lock the handles. Wipe any drips.
2. Insert into the right slot of your Revolution Toaster with handles facing out.
3. Select Toastie Press Mode, choose your preferred doneness, and press Start.
