Peanut Butter, Banana, & Chocolate Chip Melt
A Lunchbox Classic With a Warm, Gooey Twist
This sweet and satisfying melt is a lunchbox win for kids and adults alike. Creamy peanut butter, ripe banana slices, and melty chocolate chips are pressed between golden, buttery brioche for a treat that’s indulgent yet easy to make. Serve it warm at home or pack it in a lunchbox for a midday pick-me-up that’s sure to be devoured.
Equipment:
Ingredients:
- 2 slices brioche bread
- 3 Tbsp. peanut butter
- 3 Tbsp. chocolate chips
- ½ banana, sliced
Directions:
Assemble the Melt:
- Lay both bread slices flat. Spread peanut butter evenly on each slice.
- On one slice, arrange banana slices in a single layer.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the banana.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, peanut butter side in.
Toast It in the Revolution Toastie Press:
- Place the sandwich in the Toastie Press and lock the handles. Wipe any drips.
- Insert into the right slot of your Revolution Toaster with handles facing out.
- Select Toastie Press Mode, choose your preferred doneness, and press Start.
Enjoy:
